Digital Sales Executive / BDM

Digital8 is looking for a proven Digital Sales Executive to join the existing team of talented UX/UI designers, expert developers, project and account managers. The position offers a generous commission structure with a base of 80-100K depending on experience, with an OTE of 150K to 200K+ p.a.

As a Digital Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new prospects, converting pre-identified prospect accounts, responding to some of our existing inbound enquiry and achieving an annual revenue quota. You will understand and identify opportunities in our core markets, win new business and build the company’s positive reputation as a market leader.

Role Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Identify appropriate prospects, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all digital services offered
  • Increase our business at the enterprise level
  • Implement outbound sales strategies, including researching prospects, reaching out to potential clients
  • Identify potential partnerships to leverage new business
  • Respond to some prequalified incoming leads
  • Provide specialist advice on the products and services we are selling
  • Pursue quality leads that are aligned with the goals of the business and play to the strengths of the wider team
  • Negotiate, draft and review contracts

Key Requirements

You will be a natural collaborator with exceptional stakeholder management skills, and an ability to influence and engage across all levels. You will also bring:

  • Experience selling to and influencing enterprise level clients
  • Outbound sales skills
  • Good understanding of the industry Digital8 operates in and a suitable level of technical knowledge to be able to communicate with clients effectively
  • Previous work experience in a similar role – preferably at an agency or at another solutions based project organisation
  • Ability to network and build relationships
  • Customer focused and professional, with a positive attitude and deadline-driven
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations to C Level management
  • Focus on revenue goals and outcomes
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work well under pressure
  • Ongoing desire to learn and understand new and emerging technologies
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and GSuite
