Digital Doorknock Project

This app was a collaboration between Nature Play QLD, Digital8, Random Hacks of Kindness Brisbane and the Queensland Government. Development was partially funded pro-bono through our community impact fund.

This world-first app will allow families to connect with nearby, like-minded families to arrange playdates between their kids. By using a signal that denotes whether their family is home and ready for play, local neighbourhoods can connect in the same way that we did as kids. Organise local playdates, meet-ups at the park, make new friends, and connect with your existing friends. Help us work towards bringing back local neighbourhood outdoor play for kids.
